A simple and effective device developed by SAEILO employee Gottfried Tuchecker for attaching the vice to the pillar drill enables the workpiece to be positioned quickly and safely without risk of injury.

In 2017, the Berufsgenossenschaft Handel und Warenlogistik (BGHW) honoured this contribution to occupational safety with the "Golden Hand", the most important award in Germany for safe and healthy workplaces in trade and goods logistics, and a report on the BGHW Website  including this video clip.

CNC lathes

Our CONTUR CNC lathe series is particularly characterized by a strong versatility. From the compact and inexpensive LT-10 up to production machines for parts with 700 mm diameter and 3100 mm length.

The CONTUR LT-10 is a very compact and versatile CNC lathe at a reasonable price. Speed through robust linear guides and high stability through a heavy cast bed are the basis. A powerful AC spindle motor with 7.5 kW gives the machine good cutting properties. The 30 degree incline ensures optimum chip fall.

The CONTUR LT-15+ is a very compact and versatile CNC lathe at a reasonable price. A powerful AC spindle motor with 11 kW gives the machine good cutting properties. High stability and accuracy are achieved by the heavy cast bed and the robust linear guides. The 30 degree incline ensures optimum chip fall. The machine has a 12-fold turret head with VDI-30 direct mounting as standard.

At 7500 kg, the LT-30 (with an average turning length of 950 mm) is one of the heavyweights among machines with a turning diameter of 480 mm. Together with the wide flat guides, the extremely robust, thermally and mechanically stable lathe is designed for continuous operation with high precision. The machine is available in 3 different turning lengths.

The CONTUR LT-400 MY is equipped with driven tools as well as C and Y axes. This enables the finishing of complex turned parts. Robust flat guides have a vibration-damping effect even with heavy machining: a very versatile CNC turning center for demanding machining tasks.

The CONTUR MSL-500 is one of the compact production CNC lathes with convincing performance data. The basis is a torsion-resistant and heavy machine bed made of Meehanite cast iron with a 45 degree incline. The machine is equipped with robust roller guides, which guarantee a high geometric as well as dynamic accuracy.

A strong AC main drive power of 27 kW and a fast servo turret make the machines universally applicable "workhorses". These include powerful CNC controls such as SIEMENS or HEIDENHAIN for maximum ease of operation.

The machine has a 12-fold VDI-40 SAUTER tool turret (optional VDI-30). The model MSL-500 MC has driven tools and C-axis with hydraulic brake.


DIALOG Cycle lathes

Cycle lathes from SAEILO are used for single-part and series production, even of particularly large and heavy parts.

The CONTUR A-50 is a compact, precise and robust lathe for single part and small series production with the latest drive technology. Due to the drive power of 10 kW (S6-40%) in combination with a 2-stage gear (option), the machine becomes a universal production machine for large parts at high torque as well as for small parts at high speed.

With the SIEMENS Dialog Cycle Control with ShopTurn you can select the degree of automation: from conventional with digital display to full CNC operation.

The CONTUR Dialog H-66 is the perfect solution for economical single part and series production. Two gear stages ensure high torque even at low speeds. The gear stages are switched manually, optionally automatically. Machine bed, guide systems and electrical and electronic equipment are designed for high demands in performance and precision. The high number of over 200 satisfied Dialog H users in Germany confirms this.

The CONTUR Dialog HS-83 has a powerful appetite for big, heavy chunks. With a swing diameter of 830 mm and a width of the spit from 2000 to 16,000 mm, it is the perfect solution for machining large turned parts in single-part and series production. Machine bed, guide systems and electrical and electronic equipment are designed to meet these requirements. The performance data speak for themselves. SAEILO trade fair videos

SAEILO is a regular exhibitor at the major trade fairs. In addition, SAEILO organises an in-house exhibition twice a year, where many machines can be seen in action.

At the SAEILO booth there were interesting discussions between the visitors and future business partners. On display were CNC and conventional lathes, machining centres, surface and cylindrical grinding machines, some of them also under chip.

The SAEILO stand at MSV 2012 in Brno, Czech Republic. Among the numerous guests were also the Ministers of Economy of the Czech Republic and India.
